The starry expanse above reminds me;
reminds me of all that I have had and lost,
reminds me of all that was good and sweet and pure.
It entices me to dream sweet dreams;
dream of doing the impossible,
dream of loving the unlovable.
It makes me humble in the face of its immensity,
the face of its infinity
the face of its complexity.
It makes me hope for better days to come,
sweeter dreams to dream,
more incredible experiences to share.
How I love to watch the stars....
