so I found out about my golfball today. I have to go in Aug 5th for surgery to have it removed. They'll biopsy and tell me what's what then.

So far, things are looking good that it's nothing too serious. Will have final confirmation once the golfball has been biopsied.

meer!

at least I can take comfort in the fact that they've scheduled it so far out. If it were an immediate concern, I'd probably already be in the hospital under the knife. At least...lets hope that's the case!

the moral of the story...take a chance and charge what the work's WORTH... you might just find yourself makin' more than you thought possible. :D

 I'm sure you're right. :)When my cancer wa diagnosed, it was in the very, very early stages, and they still wanted me to have my hysterectomy ASAP. Still, sending good thoughts your way!

When one has dealings with scholars and artists it is easy to miscalculate in opposite directions: behind a remarkable artist one not infrequently finds a mediocre man, and behind a mediocre artist often a very remarkable man.

*nod* I'm hopin' so! When my gran developed ovarian cancer they were all over getting her treated... not that any of the treatments actually helped... but they did try.

Thank you so much for your kind words and positive encouragement! It's helping keep me from coming completely unglued!

Yeah, it's probably not very serious, probably not malign.
Strange to define tumors by malign or not, as if there were benign tumors.

You might want to get a flame thrower, in case it is an alien. The delay can be due to the hospital contacting the FBI or some other government institution pertaining to aliens.
